Jordan is a native of Rome, Georgia. Jordan attended Berry College for two years before transferring to the University of Georgia where he graduated in 2003 with a B.B.A. in Finance and Real Estate. Jordan attended the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. Jordan was President of his Class at Cumberland. Jordan began working at the firm in 2006. He was named a partner of the firm in 2012.
Jordan’s legal practice includes a broad range of legal areas. These areas include both trial and transaction work. A large share of Jordan’s practice is focused on real estate closings of all types. Jordan has handled thousands of commercial and residential closings for various lenders and individuals. Jordan’s litigation experience includes areas from personal injury to breach of contract to negligent construction. Jordan has obtained judgments resulting in million dollar awards in favor of the firm’s clients. When necessary, Jordan has followed these awards with various collection, repossession, and garnishment actions to get his clients every dollar they are owed.
Two of Jordan’s primary clients have been Heritage First Bank and SouthCrest Bank, whom he advises in their business transactions. Jordan’s background in real estate, banking, corporate law and litigation makes him especially suited to represent any type of business client. Jordan has handled numerous REO matters and workouts (in excess of $10,000,000 in value) for lenders and borrowers alike. In sum, Jordan’s diverse experience allows him to tailor his representation to the specific needs of his clients.
Jordan has a strong love of his community. He is or has been a board member and President of the Boys & Girls Club of Northwest Georgia, the Coosa Valley Fair Association, Smile for a Lifetime, the United Way of Rome and Floyd County, and the Heart of the Community. He is also a member of the Exchange Club. He is married to Ann Knight and they have three children. They attend First Baptist Church in Rome.
