In 1954, Mr. Smith joined the firm, forming Matthews, Maddox, Walton & Smith. Throughout the years, the firm name has evolved and is now McRae, Stegall, Peek, Harman, Smith & Manning. In 1986, Mr. Smith obtained "Of Counsel" status with the firm, but continues to be an asset to the firm through providing legal counsel and expertise in areas in which he practiced. While actively practicing, he successfully represented a large number of clients, who are still the firm's clients today.
