John has been a member of McRae, Stegall, Peek, Harman, Smith and Manning since 1968. His primary practice includes estate planning, tax, corporate,transactional, estate and trust dispute resolution, and litigation. John as conducted numerous seminars and classes in the areas of estate planning and taxation.
John has served as a member of the following community organizations: American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Boys and Girls Club (past board member), Rome area Chamber of Commerce (past President); Floyd Health Care Foundation. He has participated in the Georgia Mock Trial Association. John was a member and chairman of the Georgia Board of Bar Examiners (1991-1995). John is a member and Elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Rome and served as former Moderator for the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of America.
