Jason began working with McRae, Stegall, Peek, Harman, Smith & Manning in 2005 after graduating from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. During his time as a student at Mercer University, Jason worked as a law clerk at the United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Georgia, Criminal Division, clerked for the Honorable Judge James T. Chafin III at the State Court of Henry County, and also worked as a law clerk at the Witterman Law Firm in Roswell, Georgia. Jason has has served his community as a member of the Family Resource Center's Board of Directors, the Annual Fund Committee for Floyd Healthcare Foundation, the United Way of Rome/Floyd County Allocations Committee, and the Exchange Club. Jason is also a 2010 graduate of the Leadership Rome program offered through the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce.
Jason is an active member of First Baptist Church of Rome and lives in Northeast Rome with his wife Kelly, and sons Bradley and Matthew.
